Introduction:
Apple company is one of the world's most renowned companies for its quality products such as the electronics which include The Computer and The iPhones.The company is also renowned worldwide for its innovations associated with the innovations linked to their products. Additionally, this company's reputable status is associated with its ability to have provided thousands of people with job opportunities hence, a source of living of these individuals. Therefore, for this company to oprate successfully in the highly competitive Global market, it must produce their products in line with the consideration of the ethical principles so as to safeguard the security of the population and the environment at large.
Unethical Behaviour Of The Apple Company:
One of the unethical behaviour of The Apple Company is the violation of their employees rights and labor laws. This is evidenced by the long working hours it's employees have to perform their tasks. For instance, audits done in the company revealed that the employees were working in the company for a duration of more than 60 hours a week and some employees working in the Organization for a duration of more than six days in a week. Additionally, the company is involved in the employment of the children who are less than 15 years and providing false information in their records. The employees are paid less wages as compared to duration of their working hence, violating their rights which is unethical.
The Organization has been associated with various unethical Behaviours which have contributed negatively to the company's provision of their products and services to their customers. The company should function in a way that is acceptable in the Society and engage in organization's activities which contribute to the overall economic stability and protection of The Environment. Therefore, this paper tries to analyze in detail the unethical Behaviours which have been associated with The Apple Company, and try to identify some of the effects which are likely to contribute to these unethical Behaviours. The analysis is done taking into consideration The MAN2100 which stipulates the ethical responsibilities which the organization should uphold.
The company engages in innovations which are considered unethical according to the MAN2100 regulationon organization's responsibilities. The employees responsible for marketing these innovations are required bt the organization work for long periods of time causing burn out and exhaustion to these employees. Employees have faced incidences of injuries such as motion injuries, injuries due to exposure to toxic chemical substances and the provision of unhealthy working conditions at the pretext of promoting innovations contributing to the violation of the employees labor rights hence, engaging in unethical behaviour.
Yes this thing I already know that one side apple has a good brand name and on the other side the company do unethical behaviour towards there employees and staff. They should be correcting this by taking corrective actions.

DeleteShocked to hear that such big companies are not satisfying their social responsibility. I came to know from this article that the company is not following the labour rules and laws. The company is not paying the employees as per their working hours, the company should come up with the policies that will protect the rights of the employees as well as the needs of the society rather than just earning massive profit. They are using the resources of the society,its their responsibility to protect the needs of the society and give them back in terms of good employment and products.

Firstly, they're hard working and they are considered as lower payee. 2ndly, 'they are good , active and joyful students from good families asking for work.' "What's the issue giving them a work!"

Well, the situation is interesting but is pretty simple and clear.
DeletePractice of an unethical doing will lead to an unethical generation. Giving work to a high schooler if he's under 15 or below then the restrict to work is unethical at every mean. He might be an intellectual person having the skills to work. But as it's not permitted, it shouldn't be done. It will teach the kid a wrong lesson and also will give society an indirect feedback of the companies irresponsibility.
